Rudolf Iseli

I’m Rudi Iseli, the heart behind Design with Rudi. As a landscape architect and designer based in Aotearoa New Zealand, my work is rooted in the belief that our outdoor spaces can be more than just beautiful—they can be places of healing, connection, and renewal.

With a passion for blending nature, art, and sustainability, I design gardens and landscapes that feel alive, soulful, and deeply aligned with the people who inhabit them. From restorative healing gardens to contemporary urban courtyards, each project is approached with an eye for detail, ecological awareness, and a commitment to timeless design.

Nature is my greatest collaborator. I draw inspiration from the sea, forests, and mountains, weaving natural forms and sacred geometry into spaces that invite balance and flow. Whether it’s creating a quiet sanctuary for reflection, a vibrant community space, or a functional family garden, I design with intention—ensuring that every detail not only looks good but feels right.

At the core of my practice is the desire to help people reconnect—with themselves, with each other, and with the natural world. For me, design is not just about shaping land; it’s about shaping experiences that elevate everyday life.
